Buy a Great Camera And Cherish Your Love For Photography
Last summer, I went to a place which I would call heaven on earth. It
was so beautiful that I did not want to come back. Well, this happens every
time I go to a beach, but this time the feeling was simply too strong. But it’s
not surprising at all. After all, who would want to come back to an overcrowded
city after spending 4 days at a secluded island? Yes, my friends and I spent 4
enthralling days at a secluded island called Devbagh. The entire vacation was a
dream come true. I felt one with nature. Watching those beautiful sunsets, the
moonlight playing tricks with the ocean, and the endless expanse of white sand
- I felt like I was in a different world altogether. I tried to capture the
profound beauty of those scenes on my camera, but in vain. The pictures that I
had clicked hardly reflected what my eyes saw.
But looking at those pictures made me realise that I should learn the
art of photography. I want to understand how to use natural lighting to my
advantage, how to control the aperture and shutter speed of the camera while
taking a shot, and how to achieve balance while capturing people. So I started
looking for a photography course in my locality or an online course conducted
by a MOOC. I love clicking pictures so I might as well learn to click them perfectly,
right?
I found a short course on the basics of photography and signed up for
it. As days passed, my love for photography increased. Now, no matter where I
go, I always carry my canon camera.
Sure it’s not a DSLR, but it’s perfect for a beginner like me. Eventually, when
I get better, I will invest in the latest DSLR available in the market.
Photography has taught me so much. In fact, I see things differently
now. I’ve started paying attention to little things like light, colours,
peculiar shapes and textures of objects, and different expressions on the faces
of the people around me. I see beauty in the smallest of things and can’t wait
to capture it on my camera. What’s more, when I am concentrating on so many
details around me, trying to take pictures every now and then, I forget all my
worries. Everything around me seems so beautiful. My love for photography has
increased all the more and I feel glad that I decided to learn it.
And now that I’ve learnt quite a bit, I’ve decided to buy a DSLR camera
for myself. I have read a few buying guides on cameras to help me decide which
one to choose - the buying guides on these online stores are such a blessing. I
think I have a fair idea of what I want now. So I browse through the catalogue
of a few well-known online stores, place my order and wait for the camera to be
delivered to my doorstep.
Learning photography is one of the best things I’ve ever done. You
should learn too. And remember to share your joy with your friends. Let them
relive all your beautiful moments through your photographs. And whenever you
see someone lost in a picture, just pull out your camera and click. That picture will
always remind you that you’re a great photographer.
